Enticing, the summer breeze,
Combing your hair with a gentle, lover’s finger.
Coaxing, the autumn leaves,
Her loose dress and measured baring.
Tempting, the falling rain,
Her tapping on the sill and urging “Be still.”
Convincing, the snow fall,
A myriad of angels lifting you to her heaven.
Persuasive, the spring blooms,
Washing out winter’s grays and tombs, arousing life.
Alluring, the song bird,
Whispering her morning lullaby and calling you back to the nest.
Dangerous, the setting sun,
Her softened beauty beckons that you remain to see her return again.
